Procedures & Timeline

Step 1: Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) Clearance
Initial consultation and collection of basic documents. We submit the applicant's profile to the FIU for strict security and anti-money laundering checks.
Step 2: Formal Application Submission
Upon FIU clearance (which takes about 7-14 days), the complete documentation file is officially submitted to the Vanuatu Citizenship Commission.
Step 3: Approval in Principle & Investment
The committee reviews the application and issues an Approval in Principle. The applicant then transfers the required investment amount.
Step 4: Oath Ceremony & Passport Issuance
Following proof of funds, the applicant attends an online or in-person oath swearing ceremony. The naturalization certificate and passport are then issued.
